ECHR judgment of March 26, 2019 in the case of Berdzenishvili and Others v. The Russian Federation (fair compensation) (Berdzenishvili and Others v. Russia) (applications N 14594/07, 14597/07, 14976/07, 14978/07, 15221 / 07, 16369/07, 16706/07).

In 2007, the applicants were assisted in preparing applications. Subsequently, the applications were consolidated and communicated by the Russian Federation.

In the case, the issue of payment of compensation without consideration was successfully considered, since he was not ready for resolution.

In the Berdzenishvili and Others v. Russia judgment (on the merits) of 20 December 2016, the European Court found that some of the applicants had been victims of the administrative practice of detention, detention and expulsion of Georgian citizens in the fall of 2006 of the year. The European Court has left the issue of compensation compensation without consideration, as it was not ready for resolution.

On March 26, 2019, following applications by the applicants, the Court ordered the respondent Government to pay the applicants various amounts of EUR 2,000 to EUR 15,000 in respect of non-pecuniary damage.
