Resolution of the ECHR of October 4, 2018 in the case of "Granddaughters (Vnuchkov) against the Russian Federation" (Complaint N 48749/16).
The case was successfully considered the complaint of the applicant about the unsatisfactory conditions of detention in the detention facility and during his transfer. The case has violated the requirements of Article 3 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
In 2016, the complainant was assisted in preparing a complaint. Subsequently, the complaint was communicated to the Russian Federation.
In his complaint, the applicant complained about the unsatisfactory conditions of his detention in the remand prison and during his transfer.
On 4 October 2018, on a complaint filed by the applicant, the European Court unanimously ruled that in the present case the authorities violated the requirement of Article 3 of the Convention (prohibition of torture), accepted the terms of the amicable agreement, according to which the applicant must be compensated for inappropriate conditions of detention in the amount of 3,765 euros, and dismissed the applicant's other claims for compensation.
