The case was successfully considered the complaint of the applicant that the long non-execution of the court decision, which found that after the dissolution of the marriage the children had to live with her, violated her rights. The case has violated the requirements of Article 8 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (the right to respect for private and family life).
In 2015, the complainant was assisted in the preparation of the application. Subsequently, the application was communicated to the Russian Federation.
In her complaint, the applicant complained that the prolonged non-execution of the court decision of June 25, 2014, which found that after the dissolution of the marriage the children had to live with her, violated her rights.
On 15 May 2018, the European Court unanimously ruled that in the present case the authorities violated the requirement of Article 8 of the Convention (the right to respect for private and family life), and ordered the respondent state to pay the applicant 12,500 euros as fair compensation.
