The case successfully reviewed the complaints of the applicants who participated in the conduct of single pickets near the building of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, that their detention and prosecution, allegedly for participating in the picket with the participation of 50 persons, violated their rights. The applicants claimed that their arrest and detention had not been recorded, and that the prosecution was absent at the court hearing in administrative proceedings. The case has violated the requirements of Article 5 § 1 of the Convention (the right to liberty and security of the person), Article 6 of the Convention (the right to a fair trial), Article 11 of the Convention (freedom of assembly and association).
In 2013, complainants were assisted in preparing complaints. Subsequently, the complaints were merged and communicated to the Russian Federation.

On April 16, 2018, the European Court unanimously ruled that in this case the authorities violated the requirement of Article 5 § 1 (right to liberty and security of person), Article 6 of the Convention (right to a fair trial), Article 11 Convention (freedom of assembly and association), and ordered the respondent state to pay each applicant 10,000 euros in compensation.
