The ECHR judgment of December 17, 2019 in the case of Maltsev and Others v. Russia (applications N 77335/14, 77417/14 and 77421/14).
In 2014, the applicants were assisted in preparing applications. Subsequently, the applications were consolidated and communicated by the Russian Federation.
The case has successfully examined applications that the applicants were deprived of their land in violation of the current legislation of the Russian Federation. The case contained a violation of Article 1 of Protocol No. 1 to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
In their applications, the applicants complained that they had been deprived of their land in violation of the current legislation of the Russian Federation.
On December 17, 2019, according to the applications submitted by the applicants, the European Court unanimously decided that in the present case the Russian authorities had not committed a violation of Article 1 of Protocol No. 1 to the Convention (right to protection of property).
